About us

Hospitality careers start here — and Japan too

J.C. Integrated Training & Assessment Center is a TESDA-registered training and assessment center for hospitality careers, and a Japanese language school for students preparing to work and live in Japan.

Our story

Two pathways, one campus

We train hospitality workers to TESDA Housekeeping NC II and Food & Beverage Services NC II standards — hands-on, in a mock hotel room and a working dining lab — and we run the National Assessment on site for both qualifications.

Alongside skills training, our Japanese language program prepares students for daily life and work in Japan: from absolute beginner (A1) through workplace-ready Japanese (A2), aligned to the JF Standard for Japanese-Language Education and built around the JLPT and the JFT-Basic test used for the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) visa.

FAQ

Enrollment questions

Who can enroll?

Anyone at least 18 years old who meets a program's requirements can enroll. Some programs ask for specific documents — check the "Requirements" section on each program page.

What documents do I need?

Requirements vary by program, but generally include a valid government ID, ID photos, and (for Housekeeping NC II) a PSA birth certificate and medical certificate. The full list is on each program's detail page.

How do I pay?

You can pay securely online when you enroll, or settle your fee in person at the school office. Either way, your enrollment number is your reference.

Can I pay in installments?

Pay in full online or at the office; ask the registrar about staggered payment.

What are the class schedules?

Weekday, weekend and online schedules are available for most programs. State your preference when you enroll and the registrar will confirm your batch by email.

What happens on assessment day?

You report to our TESDA-accredited assessment venue for a one-day competency assessment — a practical demonstration plus a short written or oral portion, conducted by an accredited Competency Assessor.

JLPT or JFT-Basic — which one do I need?

The JLPT is the general Japanese-Language Proficiency Test; the JFT-Basic is the test specifically accepted for the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) visa. Our A1/A2 courses prepare you for both — ask your instructor which fits your goal.

Do I need a uniform?

Yes — the polo shirt uniform is worn in class and practical sessions, and the t-shirt uniform is for activity days. Both are available in the store along with your student ID.
